Southern Nevada Surgical Scholars Program

This unique opportunity allows students to interact 1:1 with a renowned Surgeon in Southern Nevada. Participants will witness patient care in the operating room, clinic, and office settings with the ability to earn volunteer hours and participate in ongoing clinical projects. Past participants have achieved notable success in the medical field, including admission into top graduate schools and training programs.

The learning experience includes:

Watching surgeries in the operating room

Consultations in the clinic

Coordination of care in the office

Patient education online

6 months minimum; typically 1 day a week, 4-5 days a month.

Current undergraduate student in good standing.

All pre-health track students will be considered.
